Yay.. Hady WON!!
I knew the judges seemed a bit disappointed with the result, but who cares? Haha…
Will he get further than holding that drink in national television? My fingers are firmly crossed..
It seems that I’ve been a victim of another TV show. You might guess what show I’m talking about from this entry’s title. Yup, it’s Singapore Idol!!
Honestly, I didn’t really watch this show from the beginning. If only I had times and TV in my room, I’ll be talking much on this here, but unfortch I didn’t. And that isn’t stopping me from watching this show, because you know what? We’re living on the Age of Internet!! Bless whoever you are, the owner of Singaporebeauty.com for uploading every performances into Youtube.com.
From this site, I could never miss any performance. I finally understood why Joakim has been the most talked-about public enemy at present. I can also tell that Mandisa wasn’t voted out because of her song choice, same as Mathilda – it’s because of their plus-size body. Pity isn’t it?
You REALLY should check singaporebeauty.com to see what I’m talking about.
And know, it comes to the Finale: Hady Mirza vs Jonathan Leong. I definitely put my money on Hady. Not only that boy can sing, he’s also very humble!! Hmm.. why do I get the feeling that I’m starting to sound like a 16-year-old girl? Hell, whatever…
I suggest you to look at this video to see why I think Hady is the best contestant. Ken, one of the judges, commented after his performance: “Get prepared for what im going to say next. The best performance of all season.”
The result show is airing tonight. Hopefully, people don’t vote based on looks, rather by performance.
TEAM HADY!!!
(many many thanks to singaporebeauty.com)

Kurang dari seminggu lagi, Ramadhan tiba. Tapi, kenapa setiap Ramadhan mau tiba, kayanya gak pernah siap melulu.
Amiin..
Again, detik.com broadcasted another ‘phenomenal’ news, and there are more than just one article. It’s about Indonesian President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono being a favorite ‘nominee’ to win this year’s Nobel Prize in Peace, along with former Finland President, Marti Ahtissari for their contribution to Aceh’s peace.
But as I said earlier in my previous entry, detik.com often provides unqualified information. Their reports and investigation are somewhat closer to opinion or hearsays than to facts.
And this ‘news’ just prove my point. Why? Ok, here’s my reason.
Last Tuesday, I went to NTU Student Union AGM (Annual General Meeting) on Lee Kong Chian LT. I didn’t usually attend such general meeting, but this time was an exception. Not only I’m now joining the special project committee under my friend Yoga, but also I was a bit curious (very very small little and tiny degree of curiousity) to see how the meeting will be.
Around 7.30 pm, I was ready to go in, but I saw many people were still outside. And even after 8 pm, the meeting hadn’t begun yet. Woohoo.. I thought a professional student body like NTUSU was never considered rubbery watch as an attitude.
Anyway, when it started, I assumed there will be a lot of questions from the floor. Why? Well, last year, NTU saw pretty much changes here and there, including school tuition rise. As far as I know, such issue must at least be addressed by the biggest student body in every institution/school like NTUSU on their AGM. But when I looked through the report, there’s not even a single dollar sign describing financial condition. The only dollars you can find was either the price of a voucher, an entrance ticket fee, or other less significant figures.
Hmm.. It’s been four days since the last time I posted something here. It’s not that I’m tremendously occupied with all the routines, it’s just I didn’t have much to write. Actually, I did, but it has something to do with talking bad about other people. And as I mentioned earlier, I tried my best to let myself get away from it.
And for now, Fanny just sent me something I think I like to do. It’s about songs and music, things I’ve been a fan of, but hardly ever had a chance to perform it in a public. Well, the passion is all there, but I’m afraid it’s not an applause I’ll hear right after I finished a song.
What am I doing? Should it be better if I started right away?
Ok, the game is called Music Shuffle. How to play? Have your music player on hand, and then switch to random/shuffle mode. Write down the first five songs along with their ‘history’.
