What a memorable and fun-tastic these last four days were! All cheers, fun and excitement are still on the air. But life must go on, I don’t want to carry on with it. Yes, it was amazing but I still have more things to come (and I’m sure you do), so I’ll better be ready for them.
Despite all wonderful things I had, I still encountered some ‘unbelievable things’ during that time which could be taken as my learning experience. If you ask what quotation mark is for, then please read my post below.
I’ve mentioned on my friendster blog before about how I was disappointed with those who seem to be respectul for their position and activities but are actually not-so different with the rest. And here’s another example.
I used to think that this person was a perfect example of what a student should be. He’s actively involved in club, speaking good English with difficult vocabularies, looking smart by the way he’s dressing, and seems to charm every girls’ around. But a book should never be judged by its cover (some may say by its price =p). You should know them very well before giving any impression.
And it turned out that he’s one of NATO type (NATO: No Action Talk Only). Yeah, I know, I might also be one of the member, but I try to get out of it.
I’ve no idea how could anyone be such a ’sissy’ like that? I mean, for God sake, aren’t you ashamed of yourself? Talking as if without your leadership, team would lose or without your plain fake cheers, team would not make it; throwing yourself into someone so clear that I almost puked myself at that moment (I know your ulterior motive!); always finding a way to avoid any task or assignment, but later when everything is over, you are the first and the loudest among all when it comes to talking or delivering your speech; always busy with other’s job while neglecting yours; acting as if you were the messenger of world peace; critiquing other’s job but when someone asked you how’s your progress, you’d say, “I’m still waiting for the response from the public” or any other meaningless answers.
I thought I’ve known this person very well, but I guess there’s more than meets the eye. I’m not sure whether other think the same as me. Maybe it’s just me.
The problem is: I think myself is always right unless someone proves me wrong. Selfish isn’t it? Well, that’s me.
